‘Fun at Bowls’ Community Group

Over the last 18 months, the Philip Wright Crown Green Bowling Academy has been on a mission to improve inclusion and opportunities within our sport.

From an initial conversation with a wheelchair user, to a weekly group with over 40 bowlers, volunteers and over £20,000 of specialist equipment, needless to say, we’re extremely proud of what we’re starting to achieve – both within our local community, and the sport as a whole.

We’d just like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to all of our bowlers, volunteers, Committee members and Trustees…..without everyone working together, projects like this couldn’t happen.
